April Monthly Design Challenge: Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue

You know the old saying “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue”?  I know you do, but did you know that it is originally from the Victorian Era:“Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue and a silver sixpence in her shoe.”

While we generally associate this saying with customs of the bride on her wedding day, how can you associate this saying into your artwork?  Get creativity and show us what you can create!

  1. http://www.etsy.com/transaction/79949631 It sold right after I listed it and before I had a chance to tag it properly. Something old – “antique” brass chain, something blue and something borrowed – focal beads, something new – beadwoven bail.
