I have discovered a great application for your insurance needs, Ship Saver! I have always shipped exclusively Fed Ex due to the fact that insurance for the price range of my items is no additional charge. When you compare the price of Fed Ex to USPS +Insurance, they were almost equal in all cases. I am going to have to crunch the numbers again because enter Ship Saver! The insurance cost is greatly reduced for USPS, with rates starting at just $1.00 per $100 of coverage for USPS domestic shipments.
Here is how to get started:
- Log in to your etsy account.
- Go to My Account > Apps > Ship Saver Insurance
- Follow the on screen instructions, which is the process for linking your accounts.
- Head over to Ship Saver and start saving!
